ALI MUHAMMAD TAJI is well known and International Qawal. He was born at Karachi in the year 1954. His father
Ustad Fateh Muhammad Khan Sahab, belongs to Jai Pur
Kishan Garh Duriyat Family. His Grand Father name is
Ustad Mehtab Khan, who was the Great Singer at the
Maharaj's Court. His Great Grand Fathers namely Ustad
Rajab Ali Khan, Ustad Dasteyab Khan and Ustad Nazar
Muhammad Khan Sahab were also the Great Court Singers.
Ustad Ajpal Khan Sahab, Ustad Willayat Khan Sahab, Ustad
Bob Khan Sahab, Ustad Badi-uz- zaman Khan Sahab and
Ustad Shafique-uz-zaman were very popular singers at
their times and all belongs to the Maternal Family of Ali

father of Ali Muhammad Taji, was a great Singer at aharaj's

When the GREAT HAZRAT GHARIB NAWAZ received ordersfrom his superiors to voyage to Sub- Continent. At his
advent to Sub-Continents, he found that most of the inhabitants were Hindus and preached their religion by way
of music and dance. Then he realized that they were fond
of music and dancing warmheartedly and to divert their
attention towards the Islam, he wants to use music and
with the help of music, he input the praises of Allah
(Hamd) and Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.) Naths in it. He hired
some of local people of music and told to insert Hamd and
Nath while creating music. When the music start, his
condition changed and he became unconscious. When he
conscious, he found that most of the people admires him

Sahab. From their Father their learned the education of
Classical Music and the Art of Qawali and enlighten the
name of their father, and possessed the exclusive name in
the Art of Qawali. Ustad Fateh Mohammed Khan Sahab and
Ustad Chamah Khan Sahab are sons of Ustad Nazar
Mohammed Khan Sahab. Ustad Fateh Mohammed Khan
Sahab well known and renowned Qawal in the Hindustan
and very well recognized in the Hindustan . In the world of
Qawali his name holds an exclusive denomination and
needs no introduction. He with the old custom of Qawali
